All of us have emotions. Emotions are a part of being human and of being who we are. Sometimes we have challenges and difficulty figuring out how we are feeling. Why, because feelings don’t happen in compartment feelings. Many times the feelings we have are a combination of feelings. You can feel happy and shocked at the same time. You can feel jealous, angry and disappointed at the same time. The combinations are endless. The first step in helping identify how one feels is to first have self awareness, then maintain self control, and finally to have self regulation so that you can cope with the mood and emotion that you are feeling in any social situation that you are in.

-

-
Cope: To face and deal with responsibilities, problems, or difficulties in a calm or adequate manner.
